Synopsis
A 23-year-old student named Alena returns from Moscow to Yakutsk on the call of her mother’s friend Svetlana, who says that for three days, as Alena's mother Anna disappeared. Alena goes to the police and she is shown a printout, where the last date, when Anna called in a long-distance taxi. The policeman adds that according to the taxi driver he took the described woman to a village called Symyr. Alena immediately decides to go to Symyr and asks her stepfather to take her.
