Synopsis
In her film, the director Katrin Schlösser draws a portrait of her own relationship. In 2015, more than gimmicks, she began using her cellphone to capture brief moments of her marriage. It was not clear to her at the time that this would lead to documentation. She has had a relationship with her husband Lukas Schloss before. Ten years after their end, the two met again — and the feelings immediately flared up again. This is the moment the film’s narrative begins. The two are now married and look back. The film combines reflections of the couple with spontaneously filmed everyday situations — situations ranging from romantic moments to serious crisis conversations. In this way, the portrait of a marriage and two people emerges, who also see relationship as an attempt to understand and understand each other and to understand each other.
