Education High on the Per Theater Chart

The per theater chart took a hit over the weekend and no movie topped $10,000; however, An Education was close with an average of $9,737 in 48 theaters.
The best of the new limited releases was The House of the Devil with a strong average of $8,398 in three theaters. The Boondock Saints 2 - All Saints Day overcame bad reviews to earn more than $500,000 in 68 theaters for an average of $8,040. This is twice what the original made in total, worldwide. Skin earned an estimated $24,000 in 4 theaters for an average of $6,000. Gentlemen Broncos was right behind with an average of $5,751 in 2 theaters. London Dreams earned more than $200,000 in more than 80 theaters for an average of just $2,536, but at least it topped the Mendoza Line.
