Weekend Estimates: 300 Crashes, But Doesn't Burn
March 18, 2007
As expected, 300 won the weekend, but it did fall slightly more than expected, declining to $31.2 million, according to studio estimates released on Sunday.
That's down nearly 60% from last weekend.
None of the openers came close to challenging it for the box office crown though.
Wild Hogs held on to second place with $18.8 million, just ahead of Premonition's $18 million opening.
The other openers, Dead Silence and I Think I Love My Wife scored about in line with expectations, with $7.8 million and $5.7 million respectively.
