Getting What You Want on the Per Theater Chart
September 11, 2007
Again we only saw one film able to crack $10,000 over the weekend as I Want Someone To Eat Cheese With scored $12,317 over the weekend and $15,990 since Wednesday, all in one theater.
While it was the only film to top $10,000, three came very, very close: Fierce People at $9,984, The Hunting Party at $9,902, and In the Shadow of the Moon at $9,570. No other film came even close, but there was another group of three films that were within $400 of each other: The Bubble at $3,888, The Unknown Soldier at $3,545, and The Inner Life of Martin Frost at $3,522. Finally, Hatchet opened with just $95,000 in 82 theaters for an average of $1,159.
This past week also saw milestones reached for a few Per Theater Charts alumni:
