No real content at the moment.
Not much changed this week, but the site is an award winning one, so not much needed to be changed.
The site has all the usual features, plus extras like clips from the movie. However, it doesn't have a very professional feel to it.
The Castle of the White Witch was added to the site and it contains several icons to download, as well as other hidden features. There is also a new trailer online, but it's not on the site yet; you can check it out here. Like King Kong, which I talk about below. This is one movie that I should be really excited about, but I'm not. I fear that the film will not live up to the hype, so I'm avoiding getting sucked in.
The week saw the addition of four more clips and more than a dozen images.
The site has all the usual features, (with the trailer marked coming soon) but there's little here to help the film stand out.
Before I get into the details on this site I have a very important question. Who keeps giving Uwe Boll money? Seriously? As for the site, it is still too early to tell, but it does have some nice artwork and some sounds and animation. However, considering how slow it is I have to assume the server it is being hosted on is in another continent from where I am.
The site has all the usual features, plus a few clips. On the other hand, there's not enough sound or animation to make it stand out.
The site has the usual features, (synopsis, cast & crew, image gallery, trailer) and while the turning pages in a book style has been done before, I still like it.
Just the trailer, which spends almost as much time on the first two movies has it does on this upcoming one. Also, the CG work on the roller coaster crash at the end just looks bad.
The Wish List and Dress Up features were added to the Yule Ball section. There are still two more full sections marked coming soon, and the movie is only a two weeks away.
Just an animated intro and the trailer, which left me flat. I think it was the inspired by real life event that made me want to skip the movie.
Not much has changed from last week, but the site won the award, so not much needed to be changed.
Nothing new on the official site, but there is a look inside featurette over on Apple.com. I'm still not overly excited about this movie. I have no reason to suspect this, but I have a sinking feeling it won't live up to the hype.
Just the synopsis so far.
Just the synopsis so far.
I admit, this site has slipped off my radar screen, but when you are trying to keep track of 100 - 200 sites, every once and a while one slips past you. Since the site was last featured on the column a few new features were added, most recently the third part of the On the Set feature.
The flash site launched this week and the regular features all make an appearance, as do a healthy number of special features. The characters section has bios, mostly written either by the actor portraying them, or by the director; also, sometime the character is the focus while with others it is the actor that is the focus. The other extra present is the costume comparison where you can look at the concept drawing and the final product side-by-side. The rest of the special features are all marked coming soon, (soundtrack, film clips, interviews, script to screen, and sets). Even with all the content marked coming soon, the site is the clear winner of the egotistical Weekly Website Award.
Not much is the way of flash here, but at least it has all the usual information.
This week the movie has a new site, even a new URL. The animated background images help set the site apart, but the only content is the synopsis, cast & crew bios, image gallery, trailer, and downloads.
There were some small changes made to the site including an animated intro. Also, there's a section for advanced buzz that includes a quote from yours truly; this isn't of significance with regards to the website's quality, I'm just bragging.
