Theater Averages: High Life Reaches High Heights

High Life led the way on the theater average chart earning an average of $24,835 in four theaters. Amazing Grace was next with an average of $14,674 in eight theaters. Meanwhile, the overall number one film, Shazam, was the final film in the $10,000 club with an average of $12,688.
The only other new limited release to do well was Peterloo with an average of $7,192 in three theaters. The only other new limited release to avoid the Mendoza Line was Suburban Birds, which earned $3,207 in its one theater.
The rest of the new releases were not as lucky. The Fate of Khan Lee was the closest to the Mendoza Line with $1,648 in one theater. The Public only managed an average of $987 in 263 theaters. Storm Boy was right behind with an average of $834 in 56 theaters. Palau the Movie and The Wind earned averages of $477 in 135 theaters and $471 in 30 theaters respectively.
