The Duff opened in February, which isn't a good time of the year to release a film. It earned good reviews and topped its meager expectations. Now that it is out on the home market, is it worth picking up? Was it unfairly overlooked by moviegoers the first time around?

It is a good week, but not a great week on the home market. There's really only one major release to talk about, Kingsman: The Secret Service. It is also one of the best releases of the week and one of a trio of Pick of the Week contenders that earned between 70% and 80% positive reviews. The other two are The Duff and The Sisterhood of Night. All three are worth picking up, but the winner of the Pick of the Week title is Red Army on DVD or Blu-ray / Video on Demand.

Tinker Bell and the Legend of the NeverBeast is the latest release in the direct-to-DVD franchise, Tinker Bell. I've reviewed the past installments of the franchise and for the most part they are very good films. Can the latest installment live up to the rest of the franchise? Or are they running out of steam?

It was a record-breaking January thanks entirely to American Sniper, which set records, both during its limited release run and especially when it expanded wide. There were a couple of other films that did well, but for the most part, it was a typical January. The question is, will American Sniper boost the overall box office, which would help February, or will its effects fade as it does? There are ten wide releases in February; there are a few films that may or may not open in the top ten. Of these, there are only two that have a real shot at true box office success. The biggest film in terms of buzz is Fifty Shades of Grey, which looks so, so bad. Personally, I would rather watch The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water a hundred times than sit through just the trailer for Fifty Shades of Grey. If Fifty Shades of Grey becomes the biggest hit of the month, it will mrean the end of civilization. Because. I. Will. End. Civilization. Last February was mostly mediocre, except for The LEGO Movie which was a huge early year hit. There's no chance any film opening this month will match The LEGO Movie; the top two films likely won't match The LEGO Movie. Because of this, 2015 will need to rely on depth to come out ahead. I'm not sure how likely that will be.

This is the fourth Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles TV series and the third animated series. Season three has already started airing on TV and the first season was previously released on three separate volumes, while I reviewed the first DVD release from Season Two. Yeah, it's a bit of a mess. Since this DVD has been released previously, the real question is whether or not it is worth the double-dip? Or if it is worth picking up for those who missed it the first time.

The Tinker Bell franchise began in 2008 and while they've never received a full theatrical release domestically, they've become huge hits on the home market. The latest installment is The Pirate Fairy, which is the fifth film released in six years. Has the franchise finally run out of stream? Or is this film just as entertaining as the past ones?

I previously reviewed The Jungle Book 2 back when it came out on DVD in 2008. At the time I considered it an unnecessary sequel. Has my opinion changed? Does the film film shine on Blu-ray?

The latest Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series started in 2012. After the 1987 cartoon ended in 1996, there have been a number of attempts to reboot the franchise on TV as well as in theaters. Not all of them worked. (The less said about the Saban series, the better.) Can the latest series thrive where some of the others have failed?

How to Train Your Dragon came out in 2010, and while it is not the biggest hit from Dreamworks, it remains their best. Since then, a sequel has been put in the works, but to fill the time, a TV series was made. Dragons: Riders of Berk is not the first TV series based on an animated movie. In fact, it is the third from Dreamworks alone. But is it worth checking out for fans of the movie? Or is it a pale imitation?

The Character of Tinker Bell is one of the most famous is all of animation history. First appearing in Peter Pan almost 60 years ago, the character became the defacto mascot for Walt Dinsey since then. In 2008, Tinker Bell was released direct-to-DVD and despite some trepidation, the film earn amazing reviews and was a big hit on the home market. This year, the four direct-to-DVD release comes out, but will Tinker Bell: Secret of the Wings live up to the previous releases? Or is the franchise getting tired.
